Signs That Tells You Need to Lose Weight

In the United States, million of people tell themselves I need to lose weight.  If you are one of those individuals you should know that while many of those who tell themselves that they need to lose weight DO need to lose weight but not all NEED TO.  Now, the question that many should ask themselves is do I really need to lose weight?  Here's are signs that you SHOULD LOSE WEIGHT

  • If you are obese.  Many people do not realize that there is a  big difference between being overweight and being obese. The general definitions for obese are those who are thirty or forty pounds overweight. But many healthcare professionals have different definition of obese so it's still best to check with your doctor. If you are diagnose as obese, your physical appearance is not the most important factor in your decision to lose weight but most importantly is your health. Obesity has been linked to multiple health complications, including the early onset of death.

  • If someone tells you to. Whether your doctor recommended losing weight or if someone that you know on a personal level has, you at least take their suggestions into consideration. Don't be upset when someone tells you that you need to lose weight, what you need to remember is that they are not as concerned with your weight as  they are with your health.

  • When you no longer fit to your clothes. Of course, it is normal for some individuals to gain weight or to have their weight fluctuate, but you may want to think about joining a weight loss program or developing your own weight loss plan if you find that your clothes no longer fit or are difficult to get into.  You should definitely consider cost of new clothes, which you may not be able to afford.

  • If you find many simple tasks or activities, like walking up a flight of stairs, difficult, you may want to think about losing weight.  When you lose weight you'll find that your task are more easy, you feel lighter and feel good and healthy.

These are not all but only a few signs that tells you "you need to lose weight". For your safety and better results plan out and research for the best weight loss program for you. But before starting on any weight loss plan you have in mind, it best to check with your doctor first. It's not always your appearance that matters but your health should always comes first.
